Reasons why LED lights dim when used

LED lamp beads require DC low voltage to work, but the mains electricity we usually use is AC high voltage (AC220V). To convert the mains electricity into the electrical energy required by the lamp beads, a device calledLED constant current driver power supplyis needed. As long as the parameters of the driver match the lamp bead board, it can be powered continuously and used normally. Because the LED itself is composed of lamp beads, if one or part of it is not lit, the entire lamp will inevitably dim. Lamp beads are generally connected in series and then in parallelso if a lamp bead burns out, it may cause a batch of lamp beads to not light up.

One of the functions of the driver is to provide a constant current and a stable power supply environment for the LED lamp beads. LED is a relatively sensitive low-voltage semiconductor device. 7: The probability of fluorescent lamps dimming is much greater than that of LED lamps, because fluorescent lamps are heated by the gas in the lamp tube to emit light. When the heat light tube is aged or damaged, the brightness of the fluorescent lamp will be insufficient due to the reduction of internal gas or poor sealing. Generally speaking, this problem is mostly caused by damage to the lamp beads. You can remove the lamp board to see if there are black spots on the lamp beads. If there are, the lamp beads are broken. If the driver is broken, the driver board needs to be repaired.
